We believe that investing in and supporting tomorrow's community leaders is crucial for the development and progress of our society. By providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities to these aspiring individuals, we aim to empower them to make a positive impact and shape the future of our communities.
Through our investment initiatives, we allocate substantial funds to support the growth and development of these future leaders. We understand that financial backing is just one aspect of the equation, which is why we also offer guidance and mentorship programs. Our experienced professionals are dedicated to sharing their expertise and knowledge to help these individuals navigate the challenges they may face on their journey towards leadership.
Furthermore, we strive to create a strong network of like-minded individuals who can collaborate and learn from each other. Through regular networking events, workshops, and conferences, we provide a platform for these emerging leaders to connect, exchange ideas, and build valuable relationships. By fostering this sense of community, we aim to create a supportive and nurturing environment where these individuals can thrive.
We also offer various skill-building programs and workshops to enhance the leadership capabilities of these individuals. From communication and teamwork to strategic thinking and problem-solving, we provide comprehensive training to equip them with the necessary skills to tackle the complex challenges of tomorrow.

Youth Summer Camp
UCAN offered a summer camp for youth. With the support of Rainbow VIP Learning Station and Pleasant Hill Church, the kids and volunteers had a great summer!

BEAM
We offered BEAM — our Black Elite Ambassadorship Mobilization Program, which provided free leadership development training — to young adults aged 13-17.
October 12 - November 12, 2020
Back-to-School Virtual Camp
During the peak of the COVID pandemic, UCAN provided a free virtual camp that helped students adjust back to an online school schedule. For five hours per day, certified instructors taught educational and social topics. Students received free school supplies, including a backpack.
August 3-7, 2020
KIDS Camp
For 11 hours per day, we provided innovative learning experiences for ~45 students. The camp included educational and recreational trips, academic support, and physical fitness. Participants enjoyed trips to a planetarium, aquarium, and local NBC affiliate. We offered 4-H, swimming, cooking, and chess, among other activities.
